Tino
Important information and disclaimer
Last updated: October 3, 2026
1. Record-keeping tool
Tino is a standalone tool for personal spending and professional expense or accounting records. It helps you enter, organize, review, and export information, but it does not replace your own accounting records, professional bookkeeping process, or legally required source documents.
2. Not tax, legal, or financial advice
Tino does not provide tax, legal, investment, or professional accounting advice. Categories, suggestions, summaries, and exported files are tools for organizing information. You are responsible for deciding how records should be treated for tax, bookkeeping, reimbursement, or reporting purposes.
3. OCR can be wrong
On-device OCR is designed to reduce manual entry when scanning a receipt, but recognized text can be incomplete or incorrect. Always check important fields such as the merchant or vendor, date, total, tax information, currency, and line items before relying on them.
4. Suggestions are not accounting decisions
Merchant, vendor, category, or other learned suggestions are based on information available in the app and may be wrong or outdated. They are intended to assist entry, not to make an authoritative bookkeeping decision on your behalf.
5. Exports require review
CSV, JSON, and other supported exports reflect the data stored in Tino at the time of export. Before importing an export into accounting, tax, reimbursement, or other systems, review the file and confirm that its format and contents meet the requirements of the destination system.
6. Backups are your responsibility
Manual backups can contain sensitive financial data. Keep backup files in a secure location and verify that important backups can be accessed when needed. Tino cannot protect copies after you move or share them outside the app.
7. Service and platform availability
Camera functions, app updates, advertising, sharing destinations, storage providers, and other operating-system or third-party services can depend on your device, Android version, network, and provider availability. Their operation is outside Tino’s direct control.
8. Use current information
Accounting rules, tax requirements, export specifications, and third-party services can change. When a record has legal, tax, reimbursement, or business significance, confirm the current requirements that apply to you.
